I wrote to NHS a couple of weeks ago to ask a few questions that would strenghten my research. Today I received the reply.
My email was slightly misunderstood as I mentioned I would be targetting a younger audience. I didn't specify an age group so it was assumed that I was aiming it at 14-16 year olds however my campaign is going to be aimed at 18-30s.
I was sent a link to one of the NHS websites, Give and let live, which is targetted at school age children. I hadn't come across this one yet so it was interesting to see that they have used design and a bit of fun to make the subject less off puting.
She also said that from their experience they know that direct mail is an effective marketing channel.
