Illustrations for book covers

I decided to go for simple silhouttes. Bill Bryson's books are always described as 'fun' and 'hilarious' so I thought that this style would really suit the content of the book and the author himself.
Also, my main target audience are younger people so I thought this style would appeal to them.
I drew each silhouette individually on Illustrator and then connected them all so they will run across the back and front of the book. I decided to keep them black as this would help the six covers tie in nicely and look consistent.
Each background has a different colour but I have chosen colours that go well together and at the same time suit the country in question.
